Dianne Weinthal is a designer, artist, archivist, and researcher based in Los Angeles, California. Her focus is on image as artwork, as visual resource, and as digital information.

Her first publication Telegraph Ave was selected on photo-eye's Best Books of 2016. Her subsequent works are included in the collections of the Amon Carter Museum of American Art Library, Getty Research Institute, University of California, Los Angeles, and University of Colorado, Boulder, among others.

She received her Masters in Library and Information Science from UCLA and Bachelors in Art History from Stanford University.

She is currently reading They Call It Love: The Politics of Emotional Life by Alva Gotby.
