Dianne Weinthal is an artist based in Los Angeles, California. She asks questions about how we interact with image as a form of representation. Her practice aims to create moments of stillness through sensory experience.
Her first publication Telegraph Ave was selected on photo-eye's Best Books of 2016. Her subsequent works are included in the collections of the Amon Carter Museum of American Art Library, Getty Research Institute, Maison Européenne de la Photographie, University of California, Los Angeles, and University of Colorado, Boulder, among others.
She received her Masters in Library and Information Science from UCLA and Bachelors in Art History from Stanford University.
